It happens only in Indian Hospitals
Sharda Devi’s family was distraught when the woman was declared dead by doctors at a top Bihar hospital. But their grief turned to shock when the 45- year old woman ‘came back alive’ at her funeral pyre minutes before she was to be cremated.

While her family was happy to term it ‘God’s miracle’, this was more a case of sheer apathy by negligent doctors at the hospital, whose almost indecent haste to declare the woman dead without proper tests paints a sorry picture of hospitals in the state.

Sharda was a resident of Daniyawan, about 40 km from Patna. She had been battling meningitis for some time and was admitted to the Patna Medical College Hospital ( PMCH) on Saturday. However, the next day, she was ‘found dead’ by the doctors, who promptly issued a death certificate ( No. ERM 5723).

Sharda’s husband, 48- yearold Baso Pandit, said the doctors at the PMCH declared his wife dead on Sunday morning. Her relatives took Sharda’s body back to their village for the last rites. ‘ But we didn’t immediately cremate her,’ Pandit said.

‘We decided to wait for my daughter, who lives in Kanpur, so that she could see her mother one last time,’ he added. ‘My daughter arrived late on Sunday evening, after which we carried Sharda’s body to the cremation ground. We placed her body on the funeral pyre and I was about to set it alight when we noticed some movement,’ he said. ‘My relatives and I didn’t know what to make of it. ‘I went ahead and lifted the sheet off Sharda’s body and found that my wife had come back to life,’ a shocked Pandit said.

Pandit and his relatives immediately rushed Sharda to a local doctor, who checked her pulse and heart beat and confirmed that she was alive. She was later admitted to a local nursing home. ‘My wife was alive, and doctors at the PMCH declared her dead. This was absolute callousness on their part,’ he said.

A large crowd thronged the Daniyawan nursing home after hearing about the ‘miracle’. Unfortunately, her family’s ecstasy was short- lived. The woman passed away during treatment at the nursing home- this time for real. Sharda’s family blamed doctors at the PMCH for her death and alleged negligence.

They said she could have been saved had the doctors put her on a ventilator immediately after she was admitted to the PMCH. The PMCH administration refused to comment on the issue but doctors at the hospital said the death certificate was issued after Sharda was found ‘clinically dead’ ‘ There are certain criteria for declaring a patient dead,’they said. ‘ The death certificate is issued only after all criteria are fulfilled.’

According to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), 600 million people or 55 per cent of Indians still do not have access to toilets. About 54.71 per cent of urban slums have no toilet facility and most free community toilets built by the government are rendered unusable because of the lack of maintenance, the UNDP report for 2009 said.

According to United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) data, an estimated 400,000 children under five years of age die each year due to diarrhoea and other infections caused by poor sanitation and hygiene which is largely because of open defecation of waste that contaminates drinking water.

Real facts of Taj Mahal of India

No one has ever challenged it except Prof. P. N. Oak, who believes the whole world has been duped. In his book Taj Mahal: The True Story, Oak says the Taj Mahal is not Queen Mumtaz’s tomb but an ancient Hindu temple palace
of Lord Shiva (then known as Tejo Mahalaya ) . In the course of his research Oak discovered that the Shiva temple palace was usurped by Shah Jahan from then Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. In his own court ch ronicle, Badshahnama, Shah Jahan admits that an exceptionally beautiful grand mansion in Agra was taken from Jai SIngh for Mumtaz’s burial .

The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur still retains in his secret collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering
the Taj building. Using captured temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim rulers.

the music house a contradiction

For example, Humayun,Akbar, Etmud-ud-Daula and Safdarjung are all buried in such mansions. Oak’s inquiries began with the name of Taj Mahal. He says the term ” Mahal ” has never been used for a building in any Muslim countries from Afghanisthan to Algeria . “The unusual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal was illogical in atleast two respects. Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani ,” he writes. Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters ‘Mum’ from a woman’s name to derive the remainder as the name for the building.”Taj Mahal, he claims, is a corrupt version of Tejo Mahalaya, or Lord Shiva’s Palace .

Oak also says the love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan’s time corroborates the love story.
Furthermore, Oak cites several documents suggesting the Taj Mahal predates Shah Jahan’s era, and was a temple dedicated to Shiva, worshipped by Rajputs of Agra city. For example, Prof. Marvin Miller of New York took a
few samples from the riverside doorway of the Taj. Carbon dating tests revealed that the door was 300 years older than Shah Jahan. European traveler Johan Albert Mandelslo, who visited Agra in 1638 (only seven years after Mumtaz’s death), describes the life of the cit y in his memoirs. But he makes no
reference to the Taj Mahal being built.
The writings of Peter Mundy, an English visitor to Agra within a year of Mumtaz’s death, also suggest the
Taj was a noteworthy building well before Shah Jahan’s time. Prof. Oak points out a number of design and architectural inconsistencies that support the belief of the Taj Mahal being a typical Hindu temple
rather than a mausoleum. Many rooms in the Taj ! Mahal have remained sealed since Shah Jahan’s time and are still inaccessible to the public .

Oak asserts they contain a headless statue of Lord Shiva and other objects commonly used for worship rituals in Hindu temples Fearing political backlash, Indira Gandhi’s government tried to have Prof. Oak’s book withdrawn from the bookstores, and threatened the Indian publisher of the first edition dire consequences . There is only one way to discredit or validate Oak’s research.
His legs have been chopped off by gangsters. A government convoy passes by this part of Tirunelvelli. It includes two ministers – for Sports and Health – in the Tamil Nadu government.

The convoy stopped, but neither of the ministers steps out. A Collector who was with them finally gets out of his car after dithering for eight minutes. But nobody offers to take the wounded inspector to hospital.

Finally, an ambulance was summoned, but it never arrived. Twenty minutes later, the cop was placed in one of the cars (the ministers still did not offer theirs). By the time he arrived at hospital, he had lost a huge amount of blood. He died. So when did the two ministers step out of their cars? Only after the policeman was moved from location and taken to hospital.

Tamil Nadu’s Health Minister is M R K Panneerselvam . The Minister for Environment and Sports is Thiru T P M Mohideen Khan.

The video is shot by a free lance cameraperson who was covering the ministers’ visit. It contains disturbing images and is not suitable for children.

The term is derived from the name of the Sindhu (Indus River) and has been in use in Greek since Herodotus(4th century BC).
The Republic of India has three principal short names, in both official and popular English usage, each of which is historically significant. All three originally designated a single entity comprising all the modern nations of the Indian subcontinent. These names are India, Bharat and Hindustan. The first Article of the Constitution of India states that “India, that is Bharat, shall be a union of states.” Thus, India and Bharat are equally official short names for the Republic of India, while “Hindustan” is still widely used as an alternative name when Indians speak amongst themselves. “Hindustan” is also used in historical contexts (especiallyBritish India). Indians commonly refer to their country as Bharat, Hindustan or India depending on the context and language of conversation.India is also known as ?ry?varta (Sanskrit: ?????????, “abode of the Aryans”) because of its Aryan heritage.
